It’s already February, and 2024 has only just begun — time really does fly.
With the arrival of spring in mind and the upcoming new tea season, we’ve applied fertilizer to the tea fields. This year’s blend is a gentle, custom-made mix centered on organic materials, designed to work slowly and steadily in the soil.
Thanks to the extra effort we put in over the winter — widening and clearing the edges of the tea fields so that spreaders and cultivators could pass through easily — the work went smoothly.
It’s all the result of off-season preparation. It feels like helping your future self, one step at a time.
Moments like this are what make farming so enjoyable. Although the cold days continue, I ended up drenched in sweat while spreading fertilizer — a surprisingly refreshing workout (?).
