This goes back a little to May, but once again this year we planted sweet potatoes — just for our family’s own use. It’s our little “potato digging experience,” made for ourselves.

Last year’s crop was quite plentiful, so this time we decided to plant a bit less.
First challenge: the battle with those fast-growing weeds!

Honestly, I think I deserve a pat on the back for keeping up with it all (haha).
This year, in addition to our usual favorite Silk Sweet, we tried something new — a variety called “Halloween Sweet.” A true sweet combo!
Sweet potatoes require almost no maintenance until harvest, which makes them perfect even during our busy season. And since we grow them without any chemical treatments, we can enjoy them with peace of mind as part of our family’s healthy, homegrown lifestyle.
